21. The emphasis is mainly on what is commonly known as B. and typical electrical diagrams of horizontal and vertical applications. The library includes booklets that present a variety of topics (color, labels, math, etc.).
The library consists of three main components. Component 1. This component contains the usual set of electrical formulas that can be entered directly. Component 2. This component contains the typical electrical diagrams that are often used in engineering projects. Component 3. This component contains the source code of the graphical user interface (GUI). The software is totally portable and can be run on any platform.
The GUI is written in Java and should run on any operating system that supports Java. Java was developed to be a “write once. and run anywhere” platform, and so it is a natural choice for writing an application that is intended for use on more than one platform.
Java is a general purpose programming language that runs on any platform, including Windows, Linux, and Solaris. The language has been in existence since version 1.1 was released in 1995. Since then, Java has been enhanced in many ways, and this enhancement process continues to this day. Java supports object oriented programming (OOP) in addition to the procedural programming that is more commonly found in languages like C and C++.
As of version 6.0, the most recent version available, Java offers many features that can be used in designing, simulating, and analyzing electrical systems. The GUI in EPLAN21 is written to be versatile and easy to use. The problem at hand is how to design a simple GUI in which the user can draw electrical diagrams in a consistent manner. The first version of the GUI, EPLAN20, was designed to provide a simple method of entering the information required to construct the diagrams. This method was adequate, but it was time consuming to use and did not scale well with the design sizes that EPLAN21 is able to create.
